I'd tear the engine apart checking everything properly. Bearings/ shaft warpage/cracks and tolerances.If I understand what happened correctly the engine not only stalled but locked up at full throttle?This would definitely require a complete disassembly to mitigate any risk of future failure, and im guessing you got lucky now but you can't just expect to take off the clutch side and replace a chain and think it will be all good.Take your time and think about WHAT moves/rotates WHAT and you will eventually find out what is wrong.
