Hi guys,

I recently changed my SEM with a new stator because my SEM basically died and motorcycle stopped working.
After installing the new replacement stator the bike doesn't even give a signal on any kick start move.
I'm starting to get desperate and my love for HusaberG to fade away, so I ask for some help to understand why now I can't even have a life signal from her.
I check the spark plug everytime I kick start I see a spark.
I checked the valves, they seem good to me.
Gasoline is getting into the chamber as well, so carburator is not blocked.
Finally I have been following the information here regarding TDC and ignition timing adjustment, special regarding the wrong marks that come from factory.

I have to be honest the instructions there are very confusing and not very easy to understand how exactly are the steps as the images also don't seem to match the text. Nevertheless I tried to play a little bit with this and different positions of the flywheel and still nothing, not even a sign of combustion.

What am I missing?

I saw your videos but I don't have that tool, so I just used a printed protractor as I saw here to use as a cheap tool to see the ignition timing.
Also in my case either with kickstart or starter motor the engine doesn't even give a signal of starting.
I hope I didn't buy a defected stator. I usually buy everthing from you but this time I bought here in Czech Republic and it was supposed to be the same as yours:

How can i check if my stator is bad one?

First check for how good they are with a multimeter set to Ohms.

On click 1 (200 clicker) your green to black will be a safe 165 ohms.

The trouble will be the red to black which should be 2,700 for SEM and 3,000 for Chinese (on the 20k clicker). You will likely get '0' here. Some cheap Chinese ones are floating around producing about 1,750 but they mean the owner was conned and the Chinese still keep getting away with it.

I sell the correct stator at 101252 on the webshop. I also send for free the timing marks you need to adhere too for free. Nobody else does this.

Finally, if the stator is fine, the HT lead may have broken the screw in the bottom of the coil. These need UNSCREWING and you should see a Phillips self-tapping screw pointing at you in the bottom.

When we try a bike here, we just leave the red, green and black connected. We make sure the orange can't touch anything as that is the kill wire. Then we kick them with no plug in the cylinder. You should get a strong blue or sometimes orange spark.

Made the measurements and it is not looking good. Either my multimeter is not working correctly or I got a chinese crap without realising.

From black to green I got so many different readings, but in general it was oscillating between 52.6 and 70.0. A few times got values over 100 but constantly going up and down.

From black to red I got a stable one on 1.07

it would help if you had said what ohms increments you were using?

most say
200
2,000
20K
200K

some say 200
20K
200K

but the numbers you give make no sense. you just need to stop bullshitting me and say where you bought the stator. a mistake can be an honest mistake, the chinese don't care but you really must complain vigourously. Explain that it is happening to many people including a "World Specialist" (yes, I bought three and Alibaba backed the company).

I followed what mentioned about the measurements.

Between green and black I had the multimeter on 200 Ohm selection and I noticed the values were not constant. I had many different readings but in general was between 50 and 70.

Between red and black I selected the 20k Ohm and here I got a constant value of 1.07.

I already said I bought this in Czech Republic because I wanted to have it fast. If the guy that sold me bought in China, I'm as pissed of as it gets because I avoid buying anything that is made in china.

OK, when I bought mine, it was for a KTM I think. the KTM hasa a reading of 165 ohms green to black while the red to black is 1,750 ohms.

yours is 60 ohms and 1,070ohms. either way you've been sold a pig-in-a-poke.

sorry mate but as i say, i made 3 x as big-a-mistake.

thanks. I will check in taffeimesters to buy a new one as I should have done since the beginning.

Is there any small motorcycle where this stator fits or can someone use it for extracting the copper wire? At least anything I can earn for this crappy product.
