Does anyone if the c/w bearings are available separately?
Price of the c/w assy is about 200€, but I need just the bearings
not the weight.

Crank is at the workshop waiting for new c/w assy or it's bearings, but they
could not find those bearings (6mm thickness)from any catalog (SKF,*** etc.)

Finnberg- your bike is an 06?- isnt that the year they went to the new counterbalancer?

The ground bearings are a direct replacement for the double bearing balancer ie 02/03/04/05- as apparently most people find these bearings are unavailable either from dealers or from bearing manufacturers as you have found- and not all of us want to Hand over the sort of money Husaberg want for a complete balancer assy..

As to whether they are reliable, I cant see why not- but I call reliable equivalent or better service life than the OEM ones.
And seeing as how I still havent bothered reassembling my 650 and will probably be sans balancer when I do, I cant give you any guaurantees sorry

If you look close on the OEM you can see where they have been ground down.
So I would say they would be as reliable as the ones that are in there.
Whether they are as reliable as the new design c/balancer time will tell.
Anyone had any dramas with the newer balancer??

The new C/B works well, but we have tried with FORCE to open them, you cant with-out braking them.
There is no replacement bearing for them!!!!

Just buy it and it will work fine.

Thanks all for your advice.I found out from workshop guys that it is really possible to buy standard bearings and grind them to fit OEM counter weight. This type of grinding is commonly done for gearbox bearings (typically cars) in order to have certain clearance so in my opinion it's not any kind of risk to do.

Bearings cost app. 40€/psc and grinding of them is app.60€/pcs so actually it is not possible to have (any big) savings with this operation.

PS.This more or less out of the topic, but I am planning to install SKF NJ206 ACP /C3 HVC058 roller bearings, both sides+weld crank pin to halves.Pictures coming when it is done.
Any comments of these bearings?Big guys told me that these last well also in SM use if the crank is weld and slipper clutch used? Planned end play 0.7..0.8mm.Should the crank have in the middle
position end play 0.4mm to both directions or does it matter?
