fe 400 sv wheels

hi to all names seb from kent
just recently got a 400fe 97 model
saw a link about sv wheels being fitted to this model
does anybody have any more detail on this?

I have managed to graft a kwak gt550 front mag wheel onto mine but am now looking for a rear any help would be gladly recieved.

An RGV250 wheel fits OK but it is difficult to get a rear sprocket small enough on it to do get the gearing right - depends on what you want to do with it.

GSF600 or GS500? wheels should fit with a bit more work. Have fitted them to other bikes.

What is the spoke pattern on the Kawasaki wheel for fitted? If the spokes are spiral, did you have to flip it over? It will look much better if you get a rear that matches. Be aware you will most likely have to run any Japanese road bike rear wheel flipped over as the chain is on the right side on the 'berg.

its a gt550 19" wheel fitted well
trouble is i think the only wheel that will match will be off a shaft drive bike!

front looks good as its different just need a rear to match!!!!

oh well back to the drawing board i guess
