hello!

I have done a full rebuild of my Husaberg fe 400 2000. I have changed all the bearings in the cases, and made sure that the bearings where seated all the way in. I double checked the manual regarding washers and gears on the shafts so that I had it correct. The manual says that all 3 shift forks are identical. everything went together smooth, and it seems like there is only one way of putting the shift forks and drum together. The cases go together with hand pressure and slightly tapping with rubber mallet. I can pretty easily change through all the gears by turning the shaft slightly by hand. The star is in the correct position and i can find neutral. However after turning the gearshafts for a couple of turns it will become hard to turn by hand. I can still do it but it feels like its binding on something. If it put on the clutch hub or sprocket it is no problem to turn it by hand but it feels tight. And if i turn the shats the other way for some revolutions it will become really easy to turn again.

Is this normal? Could the shatfs be bent? all the gears looked nice and i coudl easily turn all the gears and slide them up and down. The shift forks where measured to specs regarding thickness.

Quick summary:
Gearshafts are hard to turn by hand and feels like they are binding just a little. It will shift through all gears smoothly. Should I be able to turn the shatfs by hand really easy?
