When I installed an fcr39 off a yz onto my 03 fe400 I just looked up what a ktm400 was using and installed that.
With my 06 450 I installed a fmf jet kit for a ktm 450.
Both worked fine.
As yours is a much older engine probably the closest too it is going to be the 2000 520 ktm which ran a 39 fcr, so maybe start there and just fine tune it if it needs it.

That is how I was going to start with jetting if no one chimed in with more accurate numbers.

Unfortunately I don't have time to really mess with the carb on the 501. Bike is now at M-Tech to get dyno tuned. I want the bike to be spot on with easy cold and hot starting.
Going to be end of Sept. before done. This gives me time to try and locate a picture of the Malcolm Smith Edition graphics................I hope!
