just put a big dent in my 08 550 radiator and im gettin some leakage from the overflow now but nowhere else and its gonna cost more than i want for a new one in aus... should i replace?? any alternatives?? aftermarket etc??

Alternatives...Used, not likely. Aftermarket, no. Repair, a possibility.
Where and when exactly is your radiator leaking? Any pictures of the damage.
 
Keep an eye on e-bay, I picked a brand new one up cheap. Have seen others
quite often.

thanks.. i have called a bloke who repairs them and he thinks it will be easily done.. only costing me $105 compared to the $1000 ktm and other shops wanted for a new one..

It's always a worry with a huge one piece radiator. eBay Germany usually has a few as well if you dont mind hooking in for the postage.

A mate had his 300 radiator repaired through this mob.

Worked out a lot cheaper then a new one and it looked like new when he got it back.
Worth a try.
