My 98 Fe 600 came with 2 exhaust systems.
The first one is round and is stamped with Husaberg Exhaust System..... 150-156-00.....meets EPA noise emissions of 80dba......Model specific HB641A059.......USFS approved spark arrestor T-102.
I began taking it apart today and was surprised how restricted it was. It has about 10 large washers in the end and a plate on top marked Supertrapp. I dont know how the exhaust went thru all that.
The second is an Answer product with silencer packing that shows up in the parts manual and a USFS approved Answer end cap.There seems to be no restrictions in it like the first one.
Does anyone know what model specific the first one is for?
I am going to put the second one on and see if its louder (hope not!), do I have to rejet the carb again?
