I managed to seize my 550, it was a total loss, so I swapped it with another 550.
When I have come to fit the clutch slave cylinder, it doesn't operate the clutch. I have bled the system, but the lever is just solid, as though the actuator is pressing against something solid. I have tried removing and replacing it, in case I hadn't seated it correctly.
with the slave cylinder removed the actuator moves with the lever operation, so I'm thinking there is something wrong with the clutch its self. The guy swapped out a slipper clutch for a standard unit when I bought the engine, could the clutch have been fitted incorrectly and cause this problem?
