Engine case compatibility FE motors!

Hi there. I have cracked the engine case in my FE450 e 2004, does anyone know if an FE 501 engine case would be compatible. I have seen a few on ebay for a very reasonable prices.

Thanks. Any help would be appreciated.

eBay, wrecker in Australia has multiple engine cases for sale. 2004- 2008 fe 450 / 550 / 650. Depending where you live, postage maybe a bitch in costs. Hope that is some help, best luck. Have good 1

the cases in the photo are for a 2001-2003. no idea whixch CC?

but you have a 2004-2008 450 so you can't used them.

you can only use 450 cases for a 450.

Similar question to OP's.....can I use a set of 2002 fe400 cases to "re-case" my 2003 fe501 motor ?

Done a bit more digging into this and it appears you can't........not an issue now tho as digging also uncovered a few sets of 2001/03 fe501 cases in Germany !
