Hello all
I am looking for a gaurd for the lower radiator hose on 2004 FE450E. I have sprung a leak here more than once seems I need some protection. I have seen these somewhere but can not remember. Can anybody help.

Hey Pineman,
They are for sale on ebay on a regular basis. It looks like BOSS is coming out with a skid plate that incorporates a waterpump guard as well.

they're for sale (new) in europe and when fry saw mine he asked if he could have one. that was my gift for him allowing me to completely phuqing destroy his bike at the force ride! fair swop i reckon

look on european ebay and they do come up. i'll keep an eye out for you. most people quote a euro postage price but they will send to the USA because it's no effort. if there is. get them to send it to me first and i'll send it on to you.

BTW

scoot (bless him-where is he?) used to put a peice of hosepipe that was larger than the husey one OVER THE TOP and just use a larger jubilee clip. he only used about 3" as it's the sharp adge of the water pump housing that you're really worried about-right?

check his gallery out it might have a piccie of it.

I have seen Boss gaurd but I already have a nice alluminum skid would like to stay with alluminum.
I have the extra radiator wrap on the hose but still got leak on last ride, need something more.
Taffy that offer sounds great would like to get a guard as soon as possible so I will check the Euro ebay.
