electrex stator source coil

Help needed, electrex stator source coil resistance reading 440 ohms what should it be ? 3000 ? anybody know ?
bike emitting very weak spark..suspected sem ignition coil..sent off nothin wrong with it (thanks Taffy )
sent back again...runnin tests now..suspect ignition source coil eh ? ... please/thank you

Hi Frank,

See you have got one of the dreaded, yes the resistance should be 3000 Ohms or very close to it.

Hi Sparks, thanks very much...3000 ohms should be..im gettin 448..broke we thinks

and because of the dreaded's reputation we assumed wrong ! (yes never assume etc)
electrix coil only used a couple of times..nearly new..see if we can change it..thanks again.

Sparks, Thankfully the fe 400 is not mine .. it's a friends bike i will ask him..
i ride an '08 fe 450 which i couldnt be happier with... frank
