ehh.? but my sprag siezed when i was kicking it..?

my sprag siezed quite some time ago now but every one sais allways start it on the kicker in the morning i had never done this until my battery went flat hadnt been ridden for a month so i kicked it big back fire and siezed sprag so what do you do...?
my bike has allways started on the button
so what is a man to do ..?

Drop the oil and take a look for bits. There is a real good chance the sprag grenaded with that back fire. I which case you better tear her down and replace it and clean out the debris.

Remove the small intermediate gear cove located on the forward left side of the engine. (Three small screws) Force said intermediate gear into the opposite direction of normal travel to free the sprag. You now are on borrowed moments regarding a functional "E" Start. kick only or plan for a complete lower end tear-down in the very near futute.
