E starter for my 1999 Husaberg FE501?

I have a PDF of the service manual for 1999 Husaberg FE501 and i had come across a section on the electric starter. i am currently looking for one that would fit the bike, does anyone know where i should start? the manual doesn't give me any specifics on what brand or size to get.

The engine cases are different, the frame is different, exhaust head pipe may even be different.....although its a nice feature is it worth changing half of the engine and frame? would be cheaper to start over in my opinion. if you research the site this is what you will find, there is no aftermarket add on kit

i just wonder why they would put that in a 1999 manual.

I have a routen i go threw to start the bike that makes it a little easier and it works almost every time on the first kick
open the choke and pump the kick 3-4 times
close the choke and Give it a good kick starting at TDC

they put it in the maual becuase a fe501e would have came with it and they likely all share one manual....your kick routine is pretty standard, just when hot you can usually omit the 3-4 "fake kicks" before the rear kick :cheers:
