It is just for having a backup on my '03 since I can buy a NEW SEM stator which fit's the 93 tot 97 bikes for really cheap ;)
 
Hi ElSnorro,

Physically it will fit but electrically unfortunately not, but many people have tried. The 93 stator will fit up to 98 and from 99 to 03 the winding spec was totally different.

Too bad, well i'll just be nice to my (almost new) SEM stator then ;)
And if it breaks I will send it to you ;)
