I hope you understand Spanish

¿David Knight y Juha Salminen to BMW?

They are desperate to have a win!!! at what cost

The Juha to BMW rumor has been around for a cuople of months. I think he is gone from KTM for sure. Knighter I am not so sure about

I suppose it depends on how bad KTM ticked him off by having Taddy ride and take away that $50,000 at the enduro cross last year.

Since we're talking rumors, look for James Stewart to be riding a Red Bull Honda next year.

Maybe I will be able to bring more info as I am going to be in Valle de bravo at the http://www.funenduro.com.mx/ where David K, is going to be racing and I am a very good friend of the Mexican KTM dealer, Ahh I forgot to mention that they are suposed to ride DKnight and Ivan Cervantes the new KTM 400 for those that does not want does extra hp.

...or on Chad Reed's old ride at Yamaha. I think that's most likely.

Red Bull owns stewart, "rumor" has it, he has just signed a deal worth 5 million with RB.

So we'll have to wait and see.

have seen the Dk, Juha rumour previously.

saw it on another site which is usually pretty reliable and it was DK, Salminen and tarkala all going to BMW.

i can believe it as bmw having developed a competitive bike now need those riders with that little bit extra that can put them on the top step of the podium.

DK and Salminen are proven winners, whilst tarkala seems to have stalled in his rise to the top with ktm and is probably looking for a change.

I have heard the same thing Dale, Stewart was not happy when Kawai signed Monster as their sponser, the only way he will end up on a Yamaha is if Red Bull is the teams sponser, do you remember how long Red Bulls' contract is with Honda.

Don't know how long their contract is, but every Honda CRF commercial I see has the Red Bull badge on it.

Chad Reed needs a ride. Speaks volumes that he is the defending sx champion and can't find a ride. His pending deal with Suzuki fell through all of a sudden, and if he doesn't go to Red Bull Honda, where does he go? Back to Oz?

Who cares........... I seriously doubt any one in the 450 class can run with James... Kinda like when RC was starting to dominate..... 250 class is where the good racing is at these days.... if ya ask me....... which ya didnt

You're right about the 250f class being much better. Maybe when all those guys--Villopoto, Dungey, Canard, etc move up we will have some real racing again. Stewart is obviously in a class by himself. They should make him start backward on the gate so at least it would takes four or five laps to get into the lead.

After Stewart wins the outdoor title this year, he will probably do the "SX only" contract like all the other factory stars demand. I sure hate to see many of the fastest guys skipping the outdoor series. It is so much better than SX. SX = 40 second lap times and 15 minute main events. Bogus.

What I hate is when a rider says on the SX Podium "I knew it was going to be a long race"
What the F are you talking about, just want to slap them upside the head!!!

All supercross races should be 20minutes plus 2 laps for both classes.
Outdoors should be 40min plus 2 laps, todays riders couldn't habith the riders of the god ole days, 1970's to early 80's

Just my 2cents

I agree, why not go back to 45 minute moto's. All we see on the tv coverage is "highlights from moto 1, and then moto 2 with commercial interruptions. It would certainly separate those with the superior fitness from those who don't.

We also used to have 3 classes 125, 250, and open, with the 45 minute moto's. And if memory serves there were a couple of guys who won two classes in one year. Anyone remember who did? Taffy? I think there was even one guy who either did win all three in one year or who at least competed in all three. Bob Hannah, Rick Johnson, Johnny O'mara, Mike Keidrowski, Mike LaRocco, Mark Barnett, Stephan Everts I think is the only one to win both mx1 and mx2, and possibly mx 3 in europe in one year when they went to an abbreviated moto schedule for one year.

The FIM and DORNA dropped the MX 3 class several years ago citing T V concerns and making it more marketable for TV. You guys in Europe have it made with Motors TV, all we have here is the pale remnants of what was the original Speedvision, now otherwise known as nascar tv. I do admit, speed is getting a little better.
