Hello all, just an update on the delo 400/ FE 570 situation. After 3 hours of use I dumped the oil and it was still looking pretty sweet so thinking maybe I can push it out to 4 or 5 hour intervals. My mate rode my bike and his bike ( running Motul 5100 ) back-to-back and was impressed with the gearbox shift action and feel of the clutch compared to his. Only thing that sorta irked me was blue oil smoke from a cold start up after being left overnight, like my valve stem seals were shot. This only happened 3 times and has since stopped, could it possibly be the seals reacting to the new oil ? Still a ***** to start from cold.

I'm looking at a big botle of that right now thats for my dura-max thinken hmmmmmmm.

You people are gonna get me keeled.

Its running so good at 3531miles and 177.8 hours. That would be 5 oil changes so fare and I have 1 botle of am-oil left. So I'm still pretty far out till I use the Delo 400 15/40 .

I'm trying not to ride. The snow line is still pretty low, I don't need to go 80 MPH every time I hit a straight gravel road and it sounds like a huey when I billy goat around the cattle trails on the hillsides.

But there a storm comeing, I got gear and I realy want to finish off that tire.

FWIW F+ I still had bulk motul but I said :cuss: it and gave the tractor oil a shot. Glad I did 8). GIve that tyre hell before the white out, I'm glad I live in Queensland every day is a good ride day :D Especially when its the wet season then again the dry is good coz the ambient is a lot lower and the winds push the dust away.
