dellorto float level

old mate of mine has a fe600 96 with the dellorto carby.
he is having carby problems he thinks,he wanted to check the float level to make sure that is right to start with,but we can't find what its suppose to be , anyone know.i've checked the owners doc ,downloaded 1999 workshop manual but no specs.

Hey weed,

If it is the PHM, the float arms just need to be parallel.

Yeah they're supposed to be parallel to the carb body.
I say supposed to be cos mine overflows everywhere when parallel.
I started there and used the trial and error method. Now it's bent slightly off.
