Thinking about changing my auto decompression device on my cam.I read some articles on here about an upgrade on the device. It looked to be for 03 and 04.Would these upgraded parts work on my 98 600 or do I stick with the stock items? Thanks!

I don't think anyone has attempted to fit an 03, 04 auto decompression device to an old style motor. Mainly as the1996-2000 e-start models did not have an auto decompression issue. If yours is worn I would just replace it with a new one.
