  Yesterday when I was on the highway, my Berg starts to fail and after a few Kms. dead completely. After dismantle most of the bike on the road I had to give up and get it to my garage to start searching.

After a while, I noticed that the red and black wires from the stator didn't give any reading. I presume that is the problem.

I presume also this has no fix, or does it?
Anyone knows who can fix this part?

It is an 2001 FE501E :? :?

If you have gone through the analysis in the 'Hard Start Guide' and have measured the red to black resistance (should be 3000 ohms +-10%) and have found it to be open circuited, and have done the charge voltage test (should be 35VAC nominal) and have less than 20VAC, then you need a new stator.

Regards,

Joe
