Cylinder Casing Colour

I've noticed that some 04 Husaberg's have a darker cylinder casing colour than mine. Does anyone know if this is year model specific? Meaning my 04's really an 89 model with 04 plastic's and I've been ripped off.

I don't know what to say. I have never really noticed or seen a different color. Are you talking a different shade of grey? The paint on all the motors I have seen from 01 and up look to be the same color to me.

On mine the head, the cylinder and the stator and clutch covers are all the same colour whereas I noticed in Powercells gallery as well as an 04 450 I saw in a shop once have a cylinder casing that is a darker colour.

The cases are painted grey. Is there a chance your cases are not painted?
Do you have a picture you can post.
