Have a leak from counteract sprocket. Can this be done without pulling case. Love bike so far. Finally got to ride here in northern ca.

yes get a new O ring, oil seal and have a look at the outside of the spacer/shoulder. if it looks tidy enough then leave it.

if the leek persists then PM me but the above 2 (maybe 3) will be enough.

Countershaft

Thanks, taffy ,got parts coming from local shop.Want to talk to you more about a complete rebuild of this motor. Trying to save up some money now. Have to pick up some horsepower to beat all the ktm guys I ride with!!!!

road and track cam
jetting kit
DVSK
41mm or even 42mm carb
piston with squish sorted
flowed 35mm inlets

probably my advice would be to get the engine out, fit the cam and use plasticine to confirm valve to piston gaps are sweet and what your squish gap is and then strip the unit and order a piston based on the measuring. that way you get piece of mind.

I wouldn't raise the compression outside of the fact that with greater cylinder filling - the compressed state - has gone up.

things like three angle cut of the valves and seats you can do.

Taffy
