absolutely, check it out at www.cornergrass.com

individual lap times, per moto, per class, a ton of pics as well. something like 45 cases of Rockstar energy drink was passed out to the crowd

The event was incredible. Video from the ground and from the air, numberous photographers. Sick speeds, and great entertainment on the endurocross course. THe fans got the first look at the pros through it and it seemed easy, till the yard sale crowd showed up, then the reality check began.

The event went off huge and has beened labelled the BEST off road event in western Canada.

BTW, I suck at starts, I'm slow and well, I had a ton of fun, crashed a couple times, flattened a front tire in the obstacle course trying to repass MR. Kadlec, and lost time returning to the pits to change a wheel. But is was complete panic, Lawrence Hacking came from Toronto to write an article for Cycle Canada, also picked up a top three finish in the vet pro class on a berg. A pro from BC came out as well. I believe either Inside motorcycles or MX Performance called looking for contacts so they will have articles in two Canadian Rags.

I hosted a demo on Sat where riders were able to ride a 450/550 and a 380. Some non believers were converted, sold my second 380, and a couple hooks in a few other bikes.

That's excellent, thanks for posting up.
I hope they put together a DVD or something, I would love to see some of the action.

Now, off to check out the galleries.

Thanks

Nice sponsors...

Nice work Fryguy. I talked with Cuthbertson yesterday and he was pretty pumped on the whole deal. His second place in the final moto probably helped improve his attitude. Great to see so many bergs.

I have one complaint/recommendation. Get someone to go make a deal with owner of Cowboy's to sign on as a sponsor for next year so that you can trade in those Rockstar "representatives" for some better talent!! http://www.cowboysniteclub.com/2006/

Mark

Well the old farmers around the community were happy with the girls.........and a few guys at the after party with their beer goggles.....but Jay's brother is a pro snowmobile climber for Yamaha, and has a line on the real "Rockstar" girls. He alone will make sure you won't be disappointed.

Yes, and its a week to the Calgary Stampede, so if anyone is near Cowtown, its well worth the hangover to take a trip to 'Cowboys'

Shane, Nick and myself are both complaining of very sore hip and thigh muscles from pushing down on the pegs in the OH so many corners. I ruined a set of shroud decals in that one day from my knees.

BTW I sold the 380 that's pictured above today, to a guy that rode it on Saturday. I do not own one motorcycle now.......I'll have to fix that somehow.

damn that looks fun.
do we know who was carrying the camera and whos going to own up to being the berg rider he catches and passes at about 6.50 min mark.
just finished watching it and the berg rider gets him back and holds him off.

Jim Titmus is local guy who races vet expert, he's the camera man. Lawrence Hacking is the berg rider, he writes for Cycle Canada.

Please tell me this will be available on DVD or at least TV.
That was some of the best racing footage I have seen (and I have seen a lot)
The quality could have been better but the riding and track was fantastic. Especially the "snail" section.

So, DVD?

The response...
