I noticed when washing the husaberg the other day that there was coolant around the water pump weep hole. Is this normal, and if not, what needs to be done?
Thanks EuroEnduro

I would recommend replacing the water pump bearing and seal. It is a common issue.

Thanks Berger. The bike only has around 20 hours on it. I just talked to Dan at Motoxotica he said that its normal for a little coolant to leak on the Bergs. Just watch the coolant level.

The bike should not leak anything at all. Nevertheless, that the bikes become a little "wet" from oil around the axis is common but I have never heard about coolant among the bunch I know.

This is a weak point if you talk to the mechanicians at Husaberg.

I guess Iam looking for a permanent fix for this problem. Is there one? Thanks EuroEnduro

I have only had one bike leak from there (oil). Like I said, I replaced the seal and bearing. No problems since.
