Re: help please !!!!!!!!!!!!!

How much oil did you put in? What do you mean the oil is gone? I assume the oil did not leak out on the ground.

First off don't love something that can't love you back. Perhaps when you added some oil the sight glass showed it full to the brim but when it settled the level in the sight glass was below what is visable.

I would drain the old oil and replace with fresh. The level should be a bit above the bottom of the sight glass. Keep the bike level when adding and give it time to settle. It should hold about 1 quart.

Make sure that you do not overfill the radiator as this can cause it to start overflowing as soon as it warms up. Make sure the cap is on properly. Make sure the overflow tubing nipple has not been pressed in too far which could cause the cap to not seat properly (see the owners doc). Use a new or uprated cap (higher pressure) (KTM) to slow down boil overs. Use more water and less coolant or just pure distilled water in warm weather for better heat transfer. Pure water with water wetter is even better. Try waterless coolants for even higher boil over resistance. Check the water level every ride. If you are losing a considerable amount of water every ride you may have a head gasket issue. If you suspect a faulty head gasket run the motor without the radiator cap and look for bubbles.
