A friend of mine has this bike for sale, he knows nothing about it (got it on a trade)... I drove it yesterday, all I can say is WOW!
Apparently some work has been done to bring the bike up to "2004" reliability levels, but he knows nothing more than that.
I'll take my chances on it, because I'm just totally impressed with the front wheel coming off the ground in all the gears
I haven't stopped smiling since yesterday!
My question is... what kind of gotchas are going to be typical for this bike? I've read a lot on the wiki here... but not knowing much about the different models, etc. I'm not sure which potential issues might apply...
stator problems (no parts available??)
crank bearings???

I'm in Canada... assuming parts won't be too difficult to get.
