Hello

I just got my hands on a 1994 "FE 600?". It's currently at my brothers place so I haven't started the planned tear down/service yet.

In the registration papers (swedish) it says FC501 which would of course mean that it's a motocross model with the 500 cc enginge.

With the bike is also a certificate from Husaberg that states it's a six speed 600 cc engine (still not sure if its geared for enduror or mx).

The VIN number starts with FC6000R. The bike has head and tail light and lights breaker on the clutch side.

I have not yet had the oppurtunity to measure the stroke length (with would confirm 500 or 600 cc) or check the stator for enduro or mx type.

1. Has anyone seen anything like this?

2. Could you help med shine som light on how to find out if it's a close ore wide range gear box?

3. Is there any other potential differences between enduro and mx models?

I can't think of a difference between the 501Fc and the FE600. the FE600e is electric start and even has an electric start frame that differs from the FC/MX frame.

you can only check the gearbox when its apart.

check the stroke.
