It has been a while sense I have posted on the board. I just moved to Tennessee and now have time to ride some. I am trying to get my old 2000 FE400E back into ridding condition. The clutch master and slave cylinder was leaking so I ordered a rebuild kit for the master and put a new "O" ring in the slave. They are both still leaking. Has anyone else had this problem and any suggestions on what the cause could be. I don't see any cracks in the body of the master cylinder or any flaws in the bore of the master cylinder. The tank is also has a crack down around the petcock on both sides, anyone have a good tank for sale?

I have also been looking at the 2009, think I may trade up when they come out.

you have to reverse blleed from the bottom to the top. also piddle around getting the slave piston back to the back for a good seal.

leave it overnight on right lock and leaning against a wall on the right with the clutch lever right in and taped there.

Taffy, thanks for the info, I have bleed it from the bottom and shimed the slave so the the piston is further back into the cylinder but is still leaking. I will try leaning it over on the right side for the night.
