Cloudy Oil?

I just changed the oil on a 2004 FE 450 and when I look into the "peep hole" the oil looks cloudy.

This is a new one on me (granted I've only had this bike for 8 weeks - but I have changed the oil once before) - I think I may have overfilled by .15 litres, not sure if that would account for it. Would that much overfill be dangerous (should I drain and refill).

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Mike

When the engine is running, the oil gets whipped pretty good near the sight glass window and often looks cloudy. .Stop the engine, let it sit for a half hour and see if it clears up.

agree with NSman and would add that the only thing that makes them cloudy other than the fact that they look like that anyway is if you are losing coolant. so check the coolant levels for a while.
