I’m positive the chatter noise is coming from my carb
I’ve stripped it down and can find a few potential suspects.
So...
Should the needle move at all in the slide??
Should slide have 4 identical wheels? One of mine is different to the other 3 and also comes away from the slide
Lastly,
Should the front part of the slide, that comes of, with the ‘M’ on it, easily come away from the slide? I have a rubber seal but it doesn’t seem to do much
Any help appreciated

Chatter at idle? Is your tick over ok? One wheel is a different size. The carb body, plate or seal may be worn.
There used to be billet slide plates on Ebay a while ago. Parts for the Keihin 41mm if that's what you've got are on the Trevor Pope microfiche. You'll need to search for Husqvarna to find the Husaberg parts!

Idle is fine, no chatter
Only occurs 1/4 to 1/2 throttle
No difference with clutch pulled in
Forgot about Trevor pope thanks

do you mean billet vacuum relase plates?

that plate just needs the lipped O ring renewing although normally the 'clucking' is normally heard at idle most clearly.

in stock here anyway. 101021 in the web shop.

Thanks taff

I’ve changed the seal but i can still move it back and forth in the carb
This can’t be right

afraid so, that is how they are. they are meant to flutter, just not mega loose.

don't forget that you must see 'M' and not 'W' when you put it back.
