charging problem

I have a charging probleme with my 4oo fee 2ooo,my rectifieur regulateur is new but i realised that my alternateur stop producing voltage vhen i'm start reving the bike.
Did some one have encounter the same problem and how did you repair the fault.

Hi David,

Welcome to the UHE site I trust you will find it interesting and informitive. I have never come across a SEM with alternator out put problems. Unhook the 2 Yellows and the Blue, run up the engine and with your test meter set on AC volts test from the Blue to either Yellow you should get a balanced reading. You should see 30 to 40 VAC when you increase the rpm, if you don't see a significant rise in voltage then you do have a problem with the alternator. Let us know your findings.
