The info in the document about carburation is very intersting.

I have posted else where about riding at high altitude in the Alps.

Is there a formula one could use to get the right settings or a start point for riding at different alltitudes?

hi bill

i've been away with my best mate VIRUS for two weeks so here i go again without him his time....

well the problem i have bill is that a lot of people don't have the correct MJ or jetting in the first place. it's fair to say that you can run these somewhere between 160-175MJ standard. so i would say that whatever you have in there you can take off 10 when you go to 5-6,000ft.

i bet someone here could find a link to a site that quotes air densities and jetting numbers....what about it lads?

Thought there must be something up, you are ussually on the ball. Hope the virus wasn`t to bad.

I think the thing to do is get that MJ out and see what size is in there. If my berg is running to rich now at sea level it isn`t going to be much fun at high alltitude.
It would be great if there is some kind of chart to work off as a starting point.

Hi Taffy,

Yes there is a chart against altitude and jetting I've seen such a thing on one of the carburation sites but I can't remember which one, I'll go through the ones I refer to on a regular basis and see what comes up.

Sparks.
