98 FE 600, On my last outing back in November I thought I had it sorted out. My issue now is when in tight woods the bike stalls and finally fouled the plug. My settings are 170MJ, K51 Needle (second clip from the top)DR 272NJ, 35PJ,45SJ.When I installed a new plug and got it running I think I bypassed the idle circuit and did a road run for about an hour back to the truck. Taking things apart this winter I noticed my plug had a touch of white on it and the exhaust valves were also white.I believe this was caused by running 3/4 throttle on the road for such a long period. I want to use the settings in the Doc for a 501 and received most of the jets from Taffy along with some great advice, Thank you sir! My carb was sent to Dale a couple of years ago and he did his Keihn conversion on the main jet. The settings in the doc calls for a 185 main jet, 33PJ and a DR274. I have everything except the main jet, do you think I need the main jet or is a keihn 170 MJ equal to the delorto 185? or what is the equivalent?
