Hi.

We have had some usless DID chains that have been streched out very soon.

Check how many clicks you have left on the tensioner.

We use the stronger IWS chain, it lasts 100-150hrs.

Thomas

My two cents,

My stock IWS chain, with the stock 04 cam chain slider had two clicks left after roughly 188 hours. It had 4 clicks left only 30 hours prior.

I replaced it with a DID chain, with the rivet type link. If you have the rivet type you really need to have Husaberg/KTM tool to make it easy on yourself.

With the new chain, and the updated 05 slider, I think the tensioner only went out 2 or 3 clicks.

i noticed the IWS chain out lasted the DID chain .

the DID was supposed to be the stronger chain
