Cambrian Rally 2008

Hi, this is for the UK HUsaberg owners. I see there are 7 Husabergs entered in the Cambrian Rally this weekend, are any of you on this site? I did this event last year and it's a great couple of days riding rather than a hardcore competition. Something to be enjoyed. Myself and a couple of Trail riding friends from the Isle of Man are riding this year (Numbers 97-100), so give me a shout and we can enjoy a few pints saturday night. (purely for energy you understand). Kieran

P.S. just an idea for the likes of Taffy etc why not have the Husaberg rideout on one of these Rally weekends, then someone else can worry about the tracks and where to go and we could just enter as a team ride together and enjoy a few beers?

I usually enter but am too busy with work this time. There is a big contingent from my club, www.larf-online.com going, some of them may be on Bergs. If you see any of them kick em' off....

sounds a very good idea keiran! the trouble with the cambrian is that its heavily oversubscribed! so for a big crew to get in we would really have to be on our metal. hard but not insurnounbale.

i was talking to loonyberg on monday night and said that the IoM trip should include the SM boys so that they can ride around the TT course and we can meet them in the evening and count the flies on their teeth!

LARF enter big numbers for most of the Rallies, usually 10-15 riders. We usually enter quite late on and it's only the Hafren that we've ever had trouble getting an entry for.
If it's of any help I'd be happy to post up all the info for next seasons rallies as they appear and the UHE riders can pitch in with LARF for transport, race support etc.

For the novice off-roader on here these evernts are usually easy going enough for you to have a go at racing as they usually only time stages, the liasons are untimed so you're not under pressure. If there are technical sections they will put an alternative 'bypass' in for the novices.

Come and have a go, you'll meet some great people, have a laugh and use your Berg the way it was meant to be...

Great pictures and report guys. The next event of this type is the Red Kite Rally on Easter weekend. It doesn't normally get too full so we could get a team of Bergs in and enjoy a bit of social.
I didn't have the best of weekends for the Cambrian but enjoyed meeting a few old friends and a few beers in Llandovery.
What do we think a UK Berg ride out at easter?
