hi,
the parts manual shows an 02 camshaft sprocket as a 'unique' number.
does anyone know what sprockets will fit?
steel or aluminium shouldn't matter, correct?
i thought they were all the same but the manual says different.
thanks

2002 saw the bikes fitted with both steel and aluminium. it was the last year they were made in sweden so i guess they cleared the shelves that time!

they are interchangable but the steel needs shorter bolts if you had aluminium sprocket before. get the grinder out.

regards

The last "swedish" Husaberg bikes went out the factory door in march 2003. Ever since KTM became a major shareholder in Husaberg (2000-01, if think), parts and suppliers were chared increasingly. In the earlier days it is my opinion that the factory used the better/revised design parts for bikes going to the European market and assembled bikes with outdated versions of parts overseas ("cleared the shelves"). I believe that explains why especially US bikes have more "charasteristics". In my earlier profession, I have allways focused even harder on verifying quality of products, to be shipped far away, to keep evolving markets happy and the warranty account low. Well let´s say there is a huge difference between both suppliers and customers, when comparing privately financed products used for leisure and products used for earning profit to the customer. That´s why I never did quit my day job!
