Cam Chain Link

Hi I fitted a new cam chain in a 470 can you tell me if I should use the rivit link or the split link which cam with the chain. The split link seems wider than the rivit link

i use a split link no problem. you know that they are directional of course. keep the link on the outside as it is wider than a single sideplate.

no ...no ...use rivet link , more reliable . :^o

We had that discussion. I have asked about anybody who had a failure of the split link to let me know and I never got any answer since.

The Regina is a tighter chain than the DID, and that's the only drawback so far.
