No, no issues at all. so how come you read this rubbish? please go back to wherever you saw it and put it straight otherwise the myth just keeps going.
the throw of each crank is different.
each rod is of a different length.
each piston is of a different shape.
bottom ends will go in indefinately. it is only the oil, how often it is changed that changes this. for most mortals, they are on their fiirst rods still.
The 550 rod is no longer available but I sell a 501 rod.
