Took a tiny fall today on my 09 FE570 and managed to push off the Motocomposites clutch cover protector (2nd one i have lost and their stock fixings are garbage by the way) and put a nice crack in the cover itself. It weeped some oil on the ride home and is gonna need replaced.

Are SFB still in business and do they do one for the Husabergs? My bike has a Rekluse fitted and i noticed they also do one. Something sturdy would be my preference!!

Hi!
If there is a market, I can have a number produced. What does an OEM cover cost? Are there some special features asked for, that might add value to the product (else than being able to take a beating)? Are they sealed with o-ring or gasket?

The Rekluse one retails at around $135, but doesn't look that sturdy to me. The stocker is sealed with a gasket.

I have the Rekluse one, it has taken some good hit's. It even has a gouge in one spot, but has not leaked. It does however change colors. I have the black one. I would have bought the blue if it had been available at the time.

Well i can probably get the Rekluse one quicker than any of the others, so that might be the go for now.

My stock one is looking pretty beat after 20hrs. Seems pretty soft overall. I have held the blue hard-parts one and the Rekluse one side by side. They both seems bomber. The blue one is REALLY blue. Shop says they hold a little more oil as well. True?

Right, i have ordered a Rekluse one and it should be here by the end of the week. Does anyone know if any of ther guard companies (won;t be using Motocomposites again) do a clutch cover gaurd to suit the Rekluse billet cover?

I bought a Hyde cover - made from very strong plastic - fits the stock cover only. Cheap insurance. Sticks on with self adhesive strips and sealant.
