I just bought a KTM switch for my '09 FE570. The switch includes a blue horn button, high beam, lowbeam and red engine kill button. It plugs straight into the factory harness and works great except the kill swith doesn't work. I was hoping I could remove the stock engine kill switch and replace it with this multifunction swith, what am I doing wrong? The new switch does come with an extra ground wire that is not plugged into anything and there are 2 bullet style connectors on the factor harness, so I need to connect one of these as well?

Mine has that switch fitted ex factory the kill wire is black and yellow which is the same as the right hand side which has a red button for on/off and a black start button. Both female bullets have plugs in them.

Well I finally figured it out yesterday. Remove factory kill button from coil and bullet connector. Attach the now free bullet connector to the black/yellow connector that is free near the coil. Now connect the "extra" bullet connector from the switch to either of the black/yellow bullet connectors near the headlight. Turns out the two black/yellow bullets near the headlight are just jumpers to the single bullet near the coil. So basically you just connect the switch to one of the jumpers to that go near the coil to the bullet the original kill switch plugged into. Confusing?
