So i just got my 95 fc501. Appeared to be in good shape recently rebuilt and ran really well. I got it home but havent had a chance to ride it until the other day. I checked the oil, started it up and let it warm up for a good 4 minutes. I headed slowly out of the yard and before i could even get into my feild, i heard CLATTER, CLACK and that was it. It was locked up. I got it apart and it looks like one of the exhaust valves just broke off. I wasnt revving it at all. THe piston broke off the rod, cylinder collapsed into the water jacket, and the valve was embedded back into the head.
So i guess what im asking is does anyone have a spare motor, or any top end parts for sale? Please let me know.
