Yesterday, I put led blinkers on my 2007 fe450. I bought the bike a few days ago, and this is my first offroad bike. The switch and wireing was there, and I think I put the right wires together. When I turn the switch, one blinker lights up now and then, especially if I wiggle the switch. The other blinker is dead. Where is the blinker relay located? Is an unstable switch a common problem?
I will probably figure it out eventually, but I´m hoping for good tips and advise.
The tail light is also hooked up to the brake light. When I have the lights on, both tail light and brake light are activated. When the lights are off, the brake light works as it should.
I also have to install an ignition switch on the bike, preferably one that controls both the start button and the kick start.

Any Husaberg owners from Bergen, Norway here?

The brake light issue is most likely the bulb shorting inside. Try changing the bulb as this is a common issue. Are your turn signal lights led? If yes than you will need a resister to make it flash. This is of course assuming all the wiring has been done correctly and the switch is ok.
Switches do wear out on off road machines quickly.

?????I also have to install an ignition switch on the bike, preferably one that controls both the start button and the kick start.????
The kick start is manual and not an electrical item and will have nothing to do with a switch. If you are meaning a ignition switch that disables the bike from starting when kicked than just hook it inline to your kill button to keep it grounded or a open circuit what ever is required.

Thanks! The two wires in my back light bulb was tangled, problem fixed.
My turn signal switch is probably broken, where can I get a new one fast?
I'm also putting a key ignition switch inline with my kill switch.

Can anyone give me the easiest routine for kickstarting the bike? According to the manual, I should apply the choke, and just kick it without any routine.

Thanks for helping a new Husaberg owner!
