I noticed the 380 kit listed as available. Has anyone tried one? I assume it is a smaller diameter piston with matching liner. Seems to me that would work out to a less over square bore/stroke. I would be very interested in hearing from anyone with any on hands experience with the 380, how she runs compared to the 450. Why the 380 kit? Does it get it into a different class in Europe? My personal bike is a -06 FE450 with 380 kit.
I have also removed all unessesary parts (starter, starterclutch, battery, lights, cables, sidestand and so on..)
The bike feels very light and is easy to ride, I'm more in control on this bike than the 450. It's also not as tiering on the 3 hour races.
It's faster and has more torque than a 250f.
