I made a billet ignition cover with two 1/2-14 NPT threaded holes to do the ignition modification. I also add an O-ring to seal better and I add an extra 1/4 of an inch to make room for my fly wheel weight.
I was wondering if there is an intertest for people wanting one of these covers for there husaberg. This cover fits I think 1998 and older bikes. If someone know what year the ignition cover changed please let me know.
I will add more pictures when I get the cover installed on the bike. I put some picture in my gallery also.

Thanks

Very nice Joe. I dont know what the market is for the older bikes, but Im sure you would have some interest in say the 00-03 bikes.
I think someone could make a little money if they would come up with some decent armor and accessories (water pump guards, bash plates etc.)

The '98 model was the last to use an the engine case mounted stator. The '99 was the first to us the ignition cover mounted one.

They went to the Kokusan stator in '04. Don't know if that affected the ignition cover.

HUSABUTT I will let you know how much for the cover when I get a chance to figure it out. I am thinking about putting a kit together with all the the fitting, hoses, hose clamps and filter breathers so it can be install we you would receive it. Or the other option I might try is listing all the part and places to buy them. Any input to what you might prefer would be appreciated.

I would include the fittings and possibly the filter but the hose is bulky to ship and is available at any auto parts store. 5/8" heater hose would probably work good as 3/4" (19mm) is hard to squeeze in between components and doesn't turn (bend) as well.

Some may not want to run a filter at all and merely stuff a little foam into the end of the hoses.
