Hey guys,

Hopefully this the right place to post this.

I've been working with Paul over at Highway Dirt Bikes to come up with a cool way to mount the MAP switch for our beloved Bergs. This is of course if you are running the HDB setup. Here's the first working prototype.

If is very easy to get to obviously. I have trimmed the cover and popping it on and off is a breeze compared to the way it comes.

Did anyone ever figure out if the MAP switch can be switched on the fly. I know there is some debate, some think yes, some think no.

Anywho's if you are interested in this setup let me know. Thanks.

That looks awesome, I'm not interested as I leave my FE570 in the sissy mode, no need for changes. My next change will be a Motosportz damper like yours. You like?

Hey Mark,

Yes, the Motosportz damper is very nice. Small, tidy and sano as hell. Highly adjustable too. I was a diehard Scotts guy for years but I couldn't be happier with my Motosportz 'hand of God'.

I went to their page and looked around. Thinking about changing out my starter button to one of their units. Anybody tried one of theirs yet?

I think the consensus is no, it can't be switched on the fly. The engine has to be turned off before the new setting takes effect.

Is zero the sissy setting and then it gets more agressive as you move it up to 9 ?
Only just got a 570 and cant find any info about how much of a difference each setting makes

I were told 1 = traction 2 = aggressive 3 = standard. 2 is pretty cool. Hope it helps

Cool cheers for that :D
I rode it today on zero and it goes like a rocket cant wait to try it on 2 8)

I can't find the instructions that came with my switch, but I do recall that two of the settings are associated with one specific position on the rotary switch, and all the other numbers on the switch are the remaining setting - meaning possibly that one of those positions has no resistor value at all, or is an open (i.e., infinity resistance) and is therefore the default.

There is someone here and/or on Thumpertalk who has measured the resistance values for each setting.
