hi everyone!

Is it safe to charge the battery when it is mounted in the bike?

the thing is that dismounting the battery is a chore and I want to avoid it if possible.

Thanks everyone.

Why would you think you can't charge the battery in the bike? I leave my bikes on battery tenders (chargers) whenever they are not in use.

A few of us have a battery cable permanently mounted on the battery and hidden under the seat, attached to the mid frame with a zip tie. That way you just connect your battery charger there without using crocodile clamps. A good thing to do is to keep the battery charged up as much as you can, which means hooking it up to the charger when you roll the bike back in the garage.

Thanks for your answers.

I have only one more question.

In order to charge the battery, Do I have to dissconnect all the cables before I connect the charger or I just hook the charger to the battery as it is connected to the ground, starter, etc..?

If the bike is not running, that means the circuit is not closed. Therefore you can charge it without disconnecting anything.
