I just picked up an old Garmin 60Csx and would like to know what you guys use for mounts; what works and what doesn't.

The darn Touratech cost more than I paid for the Garmin, and I have seen it both work well and not so well.

This is for my FE570 with hand guards and a sub mount Scott's.

Thanks in advance

I have been using a RAM mount for my Garmin Oregon for the past 5 years and it works great. The GPS has only come out once on a really big spill (luckily the GPS rolled down the hill and ended up right beside me).

I used to have the Brake Lever mount RAM Motorcycle Brake/Clutch Reservoir Base but found it didn't always let me position the GPS in a way that worked well for riding. It is a good option if bar space is tight though. With a swivel arm it would be great RAM Variable Swivel Arm (RAP-B-200-12)

I changed to the simple u-bolt mount RAM Rail Base with Stainless Steel U-Bolt and it lets the GPS be positioned a little easier.

You can't go wrong with the RAM mounts. Our whole group runs their products (even the mirrors) and the quality is top notch.
