I own (for my sins) an 02 fs650e ... after sending it away to dave clarke racing for a refresh and couple of other bits like the fork seals and stuff the bike run ok for a couple of rides then dropped the teeth on the starter motor gears, dave replaced those only for it to happen again, the bike was running fine untill it locked up when the teeth sheared, i havent changed anything on the bike apart from remove the starter gears.
guess what ... now she wont run, ive kicked and kicked and she just wont go, choke on ... choke off ... hi setting low setting ... nothing makes a difference, getting tempted to just break it for parts!
