Race-tech's ultra progressive shock springs on a berg?
Do you like it?

I currently have .46 and a pds 4 on a 02 FE650 and was thinking of trying their #25.

I borrowed the Race-tech 25, ultra progressive PDS spring, from a buddy just finished putting it on tonight. Can't wait till tomorrow. I will report back with results.

I am hoping it provides that extra bottoming resistance, while maintaining a plush feel.

hey ajt any questions you have direct to the man himself inventor of the telescopic needle valve and owner/manager of RACE-TECH Terry hay
at www.dirtbikeworld.net and go to the suspension forum good luck i am hoping to trial the teloscopic needle my self as soon as i can

cheers doug

Well it snowed up to twelve inches in spots around my house yesterday. But I managed to make it out for a 30mile loop today, to check on my clubs race course for next weekend. The snow varied from 4in to 3ft deep snow drifts. Needless to say, I couldn't be to aggressive and really use the travel. But, from what I was able to ride, it worked atleast as well as the PDS 4. It really felt good today but I can't say for sure it was the spring, and not just the conditions.

Thanx for the advice. From what I understand Terry is the Australian man in charge of Race-Tech, but Paul Thede is the actual owner. From what I gather Terry has Convinced Paul to buy the rights to some of his needles, so that Race-Tech can sell and market them. It sounds like it might work well. Might be worth a try if the p25 spring doesnt give me everything I need. They have the same concept (more progressive suspension), one way is damping the other is through spring-force. It might turn out that terry's needle and the P25 combined are the hot ticket, but for now I am trying one thing at a time.

Has anyone on here tried terry's needle and if so what do you think of it? A lot of KTM riders swear by it, but I have not heard any berg rider comments.

Terry Hay is not the owner/manager of RaceTech. Paul Thede is the owner manager of RaceTech. Terry Hay is an austrailian suspension tuner that was originally trained by Paul Thede and has a working relationship with Paul. Terry is an official tuner/distributer of RaceTech in Australia.
