I just disassembled my 03 501 after about 200 + hours after the last rebuild and this is what I found up to now:
Big-end has some play
Balance weight was hitting the piston
Mains seem to be OK but I'm replacing them anyway
Piston oval
Cylinder oval (about 0.2 mm)
Cam damaged (chrome).
Of course I will be replacing some bearings and o-rings, but what else needs attention while I'm there?
